Please find the requirement below and let me know if you have any matching profiles. *This is a C2C position but client is only looking for Green Cards or Citizens.* *Title: QA Tester* *Location: Atlanta* *Duration: 6 Months* *Additional requirement is scripting and minor socket programming.* *Roles and responsibilities: * - To create & review the Test Cases from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document - To test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases - To contribute while test plans are developed as per the work assigned - To coordinate with team (for discussions) and interact with client (for updates). - To schedule the tasks and report - Execute component and system testing - Record defects and coordinate with development team for closure - Generate test data or coordinate with relevant stakeholders for test data - Proactively share knowledge and information with the team - Report the status to team lead and manager *Essential skills: * - Thorough understanding of test principles such as unit, smoke, functional (black box/white box), user acceptance and usability testing - Exposure to structured software development and testing life-cycle methodologies, like waterfall, agile, and incremental-iterative - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different levels of stakeholders in application delivery, QA and business groups - Ability to accurately log defects, escalate issues and risks - Experience of working in tight deadlines in a mature ‘time-boxed’ testing environment - Be able to demonstrate consistent and good judgment of assessing severity of issues *Desirable * - Testing certifications - Understanding Payment gateways Thanks & Regards Alex Oslo Solutions LLC.
