From Prodigy Software Group Inc I’m looking for strong consultant for the given position; if you are interested and available, send me updated word copy of your resume with the given information *Requirement:* Position: *Cognos Architect* Location: NY Duration: 6-12+ Months * * *Skills Required: * · 5+ years experience independently developing Cognos applications and Cognos reports from the ground up. · Must have EP (Enterprise Planning) experience as well as some Business Intelligence (BI) · Experience authoring Cognos EP & BI technical requirements and design documents for business applications. · Work independently to develop Cognos EP & BI applications and Cognos 8 reports. · Must have 3+ years experience supporting Cognos business applications with direct customer contact. · Must possess analytical and critical thinking skills with technical problems of high complexity, i.e., ability to collect information to ascertain the root cause of a complex issue and make timely decisions when recommending corrective action. · Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and assignments of moderate to high complexity, working tenaciously to meet or beat deadlines. · Must have knowledge of quality assurance and testing procedures, processes and techniques employed across various technical platforms and environments. · Must have effective oral and written communication skills. · BS in IT, BusMgmt, EE · 5-7 years management experience Other Non-Cognos Toolset Skills 1. SAP integration 2. Primavera P6 Scheduling 3. Primavera Cost Manager 4. Primavera Expedition/Contract Manager 5. Oracle and MS-SQL Databases 6. Win2003 Enterprise OS 7. Working knowledge of SQL 8. IBM Websphere Application Server 9. Java Software Development Be prepared to provide Detailed description of at least three (3) previously completed projects where the proposed candidate for this position was responsible for developing Cognos EP (or 2 EP and one BI) applications integrated with SAP and/or Primavera.
