Collins, CO.* We are looking for a Systems Engineer who understands and embraces the devops philosophy and has experience working in an enterprise scale operations space. You will work closely with development, operations and security to provide services and tools to enable rapid and reliable configuration management, build, release and monitoring solutions for enterprise web applications. Our engineers are given autonomy to research, design, implement and launch new tools and services to enable our development teams to rapidly deploy new features while maintaining reliability of our operational environment. *Candidates must be able to* · Effectively prioritize work and complete tasks on time · Assist with software and hardware management, inventory, installations, configurations and connectivity · Provide backup support for administering database and web servers · Evaluate and implement technologies that improve efficiency, performance and reliability · Install, maintain, troubleshoot, administer, upgrade and use server system hardware · Analyze requirements and determine best fit architecture · Design and build solutions that are generic, scalable and reusable · Collaborate with other engineers to develop deployment and maintenance strategies for existing and new services · Analyze, debug and troubleshoot problems within all application tiers *Technical Requirements* · Experience with containerization tools like Docker, LXC · Experience with configuration management tools like SaltStack, Puppet, Chef Ansible · Strong Linux system administration and networking experience · Strong scripting/development skills. Python, shell scripting are preferred · Experience with Apache, Nginx, HAProxy as reverse proxies · Familiarity with deploying, configuring and troubleshooting JEE apps · Basic understanding of API's and web services. REST and JSON experience is preferred · Strong experience with SCM, CI and CD workflows and tools (SVN, Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, XLDeploy, Artifactory) · Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios or similar · Experience with logging configuration and analysis.
