JOB TITLE – TIBCO ADMIN LOCATION – LAS VEGAS NEVADA DURATION- 6+ MONTHS *1) TIBCO Administrator 2) Implementation of TIBCO in an enterprise environment (TIBCO being on more than 50 servers) 3) Load-balancing, performance tuning, wiring in a TIBCO environment to ensure fault tolerance and high availability 4) 5+ years current experience with MDM (Master Data Management), Trillium, or Tibco Patterns * *Job Description:* Master Data Management Administrator Using your expertise of TIBCO products, you will advise on the best and most efficient use of the products. You will be part of a team that is rewriting our platform using various TIBCO products. In this role you will be responsible for delivery of the overall enterprise customer “golden record.” You will lead the technical aspects of the delivery of the golden record and related components while driving master data schema development, access business rules, and master Customer data design and migration processes for implementation. You will be responsible for developing functional specs for business rules and workflow processes in addition to implementing configuration-setting changes. Job Duties - Administration of their “golden record” customer data models (conceptual, logical, and physical master data models) - Administer and build data integration/synchronization between current Business Systems, CIM, and Enterprise Data Warehouse - Produces CIM code modules meeting technical specifications and business requirements - Address issues of master data definition, metadata acquisition and data migration including data profiling, validation, clean-up and remediation, and source to target mapping - Develop workflows that augment current business process management - Testing oversight (unit test, develops test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans, including component, assembly, product, performance, user acceptance and technical architecture tests; execution of test scripts) - Work with a broader software team to ensure product life-cycle development processes are adhered to (Development, Unit Test, Integration Testing, Production) - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with MDM system, processes and related systems - Evaluate, test and deploy new upgrades and updates as they relate to CIM system, processes, related systems and end users. - Administer data maintenance processes and related systems including but not limited to backups, archiving, maintenance, application setup, and new-user setup, and updates that are required for business operations. - Work on other projects as needed to meet IT Team and Company goals *Additional Information:* Requirements - -Ten (10) years of practical work experience in software development / Data Analyst - -Four (4) Years of strong experience in Tibco Administration (BW, EMS, MDM, Active Spaces) - -Two (2) years of experience in Application Design, Design patterns and Architecture - -Experience with Tibco MDM, Trillium, and Patterns *Work Environment:* Enterprise environment Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Business Casual attire *Interview Information:* In person interview with Director of Product Management and Product Managers/Senior Business Analyst *Who is the Internal/External Customer:* Business units and IT directors sponsoring upgrade projects the business analyst will be responsible for. *Impact to the Internal/External Customer:* Without the the help of business analysts, there will be a gap between the business units' requests/needs and internal IT. It would be nice to utilize TIBCO in a production environment, a system Sands paid millions for. *Business Challenge:* The Las Vegas Sands/Venetian/Palazzo wants to provide the highest level of service to their guests/gamblers so they will continue to frequent their property. They need to ensure their systems are up to date and running efficiently so guests will continue to return to the property and generate more revenue. They paid TIBCO Professional Services to implement TIBCO, but ran out of budget for a full implementation. As is, the setup is more of a proof of concept. They have 100 servers with TIBCO installed, and need help cleaning the data and optimizing the servers.
