*Technical/Functional Skills*

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ IT or equivalent work
experience
·        Hands-on experience in Informatica Administration - specializing
in Data Quality Administration (9.x).   Certification on IDQ Admin
Specialist is highly desirable
·        Well versed with various Data Quality application/repository
services, installation & project setup - within single as well as grid
environments
·        Well aware of security setup, command line utilities, configuring
content including out-of-the-box and address validation files
·        Troubleshooting, monitoring and managing the environment
·        Facilitating the establishment and implementation of standards,
guidelines, "how-to"s, as well as best practices that guide the various IDQ
projects within the organization
·        Awareness of ETL/Informatica PowerCenter
·        Experience on both Linux & Windows operating systems
·        Experience working with a virtual team environment over multiple
locations, including off-shore
·        Effective communications with all levels of internal staff,
including issue resolution, negotiation of project related priorities, and
completion dates
·        Strong analytical and technical aptitude
·        Exposure to complex, cross-departmental projects involving
multiple platforms
·        Ability to create technical specifications, configuration & usage
documents
·        Ability to lead walk through of design documents



*Experience Required*

8+ years of Data Quality Administration experience.
5+ years of experience as IDQ Admin/ Sr developer



*Roles & Responsibilities*

·        Develops business relationships and integrates activities with
other IT departments, i.e., Security, Database Administrators, etc., to
ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
·        Provides scope, sizing and estimates time required to complete
code and provides this information to the project manager for input to the
project plan. Determines impacts and integration points. May participate in
capacity planning with project manager or functional manager
·        Creates application design specification documents from which code
will be written. Interfaces with external vendors and customers through
crosswalk mapping with different and often complex architecture
·        Perform Unit Testing and Prepare Application for Release to
Testing Team. Analyze Defects Found in Testing and Fix Coding Errors
·        Coordinate Activities with Others on All Phases of SDLC
·        Troubleshooting, monitoring and managing the environment
·        Facilitating the establishment and implementation of standards,
guidelines, "how-to"s, as well as best practices that guide the various IDQ
projects within the organization
·        Document design and results, and follow change management
procedures;

members
