Sr. Business Analyst with trading systems experience - Bloomberg POMS/AIM preferred. Location: NYC Duration:6+ months Trading system experience should include: § Experience with trading system navigation § Proficient knowledge of order management workflow § Experience with system interfacing a plus § Experience in upgrading from Bloomberg POMS to Bloomberg’s AIM product a plus § Administration and user setup § Experience in Report writing a plus § Experience with Bloomberg’s API functionality § Ability to perform current state analysis, prepare future state workflows and document all using SDLC methodology. § Identify and document business requirements and functional specifications § Proficient in creating Use Cases, Workflow Diagrams, Activity Diagrams § Identify and document data requirements § Proven knowledge in analyzing and identifying gaps § Strong experience with Fixed Income securities. § Knowledge of Municipal Bonds and their structure a plus § Knowledge of Mortgage Backed securities e.g. Dollar Roll processing requirements a plus § Experience in identifying the differences between Preferred Equity and Non Preferred Equity products § Experience working with investment personnel; e.g. portfolio managers, traders, compliance. § Ability to perform data analysis, identify gaps and resolve issues. § Ability to define and execute test plans. § Excellent communication skills and very detail oriented. Responsibilities will include: § Performing current and future state analysis § Gathering and documenting business requirements and functional specifications § Design reports using Bloomberg’s suite of tools including Crystal § Setting up user permissions within Bloomberg § Design and develop use cases, workflow diagrams § Interfacing with and training Front Office users on Bloomberg’s POMS system § Design and develop test plans Knowledge of below tools preferred: § Bloomberg § MS Office suite § Crystal Report writers Accounting systems: PAM, Portia, CAMRA, SAP -- Thanks & Regards Matt I.T.
