Position: *Java Consultant (With JAAS)* Location: *Austin**, TX** *** Duration: *8 months* Rate: $50/hr all inclusive on C2C or 1099 *Job Description:* We are looking for a strong *Java Consultant (With JAAS [**Java Authentication and Authorization Service])* with the following. - *JAAS, Swing, Java security development * - This position is responsible for the development of the Access Control Systems. This includes integration with the framework from which all APIs and SDKs are developed, as well as integrating with the platforms. - Experience in designing Web Services and SDK environments a plus. - Experience in developing highly available, reliable, and scalable solutions in Java required. C++ is a plus. - Primary responsibility is implementing enterprise-level access control system designs and working with a development team to create and maintain security software products. This is an Individual Contributor position with an organized, highly focused development team. - Responsibilities include delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies. *The Principal position* must have business knowledge and experience in application design, as well as some knowledge of related domains of technical architectures (network, security, and infrastructure engineering), information architectures, and data architectures. This position is involved in many aspects of the project life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design and implementation.
