This is a unique combination type or role, our client is a smaller IT group that is growing so they are looking for someone that can contribute both as *traditional business Analyst but has some Project Manager skills-* The BA will work collaboratively with our business units and application development team. They will be responsible for defining scope and eliciting business requirements in clear, detailed user stories and use cases that can be used by application developers and testers. The BA will ensure that IT solutions developed and implemented satisfy business requirements and are delivered in a timely manner. The successful candidate must be a resourceful, creative, team-oriented analyst who can work collaboratively with others to deliver solutions. This person will work with business units and stakeholders to determine project scope, project goals, product functionality, and desired features. They will achieve project goals utilizing agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum. Organize and track IT project tasks to ensure successful and timely delivery. Elicit business requirements utilizing a variety of techniques such as interviews, work sessions, storyboarding, and prototyping. Evaluate customer needs/issues, analyze business processes, assist in evaluating alternatives, and determine appropriate solutions with IT staff. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-* · Work with business units and stakeholders to determine project scope, project goals, product functionality, and desired features. · Achieve project goals utilizing agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum. · Organize and track IT project tasks to ensure successful and timely delivery. · Elicit business requirements utilizing a variety of techniques such as interviews, work sessions, storyboarding, and prototyping. · Evaluate customer needs/issues, analyze business processes, assist in evaluating alternatives, and determine appropriate solutions with IT staff. · Evaluate and propose and alternative solutions to fulfill business requirements. · Help determine the level of effort and time required for solution delivery. · Define user stories with applicable acceptance criteria in collaboration with business subject-matter experts and IT. · Analyze high-level business requirements and translate them into more detailed user stories, use cases, and other functional requirements documents such as process flows, screen mock-ups, gap analysis, etc. · Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-ups, backlogs, reviews, and sprints. · Assist d*evelopers and provide guidance as needed. * *Required Skills:-* · 5+ years of experience as an IT business Analyst experience with a good understanding of *Agile* values and principles*.
