*Position: Windows Engineer * *Location: Chicago, IL*
*Duration: 6-12 months * *I will submit non-local candidates that are good. Must be very hands-on.* *Senior Systems Engineer* In this role, you will be supporting and engineering an expanding multi-site organization with advanced systems to achieve the organizational goals of transforming the North American Supply Chain. *Daily Tasks & Responsibilities* · Optimize and support Microsoft Windows Server platforms consisting of both virtual (VMware and Microsoft HyperV) and physical servers. · Lead Microsoft Active Directory redesign efforts · Optimize Office365 integrations with a focus on Exchange Online and On-Prem · Assist the Tier 2 team with support ticket resolution and provide after-hours / on-call support as needed on a rotating schedule following the On-Call SOP · Respond to, resolve, and document actions related to support requests · Perform a series of regularly scheduled maintenance activities during approved maintenance windows · Performs other duties as assigned by management · Document Standard Operating Procedures for the team to follow · Build and contribute to a Server Team Knowledge Base *Essential Skills, Characteristics, & Experience* · Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science or management information systems. · Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail. · Proven analytical and problem solving skills. · The ability to produce technical documents such as Standard Operating Procedures or internal KB articles · Ability to effectively react and respond to changing situations including the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines consistently. · Ideal candidate should have 4+ years’ experience in the following: o designing, implementing and supporting Active Directory o Implementing and supporting Windows Server OS 2008 – 2012R2 o Implementing and supporting Windows DHCP and DNS o Implementing and supporting Windows Failover Clusters o Implementing and supporting Hyper-V 2008+ o Implementing and supporting VMWare vSphere 5.5+ o Implementing and supporting DFS and windows file shares o Supporting an organization of 4,000+ users and 1000+ servers o Supporting an Office 365 hybrid configuration o SCCM and SCOM 2012R2 Experience *Thanks and Regards,* *Manu Priya* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *IDC Technologies* *1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116|Milpitas, CA , USA, 95035* *408-459-5794 [Direct] I **manu.pr...@idctechnologies.com* <manu.pr...@idctechnologies.com> *www.idctechnologies.com* <http://www.idctechnologies.com/> *Note: **Due to high volume of calls, I may miss your call, email is the better way to reach me.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
