Greetings… *We have the below position with our Client and Please let me know your interest in the same.* Duration : 10+ Months Location : Des Moines, IA strong understanding of SQL Server database administration, with experience developing in SSIS and XML. This TS3 position will be joining our database support team and assume workload coordination of 6 SQL Server DBAs. This person will help shape the department’s future SQL Server Vision from database standards and policies to automation efforts for deployment. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing databases in the cloud, and will have experience with continuous integration and automation concepts. Responsibilities: ? Manage day-to-day operations (includes monitoring and maintenance, problem investigation and resolution, backup creation and maintenance, database optimization and tuning, etc.). ? Effectively prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative and work independently with minimal supervision. ? Drive results and leverage past experiences to improve the environment and related processes. ? Foster a spirit of teamwork, coach and mentor staff and empower employees to take responsibility. ? Stay current on technology and industry standards; work with leadership to develop strategic plans and roadmaps. ? Coordinate with other agency departments to update and integrate processes as necessary. Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expert understanding of Database best practices Required 8 Years Demonstrated ability to lead a team of at least 5 staff members Required 3 Years Strong technical and project management skills, as well as the willingness to engage in a hands-on way, to provide specific technical guidance and lea Required 6 Years Strong written and verbal communication skills Required 6 Years Data Warehousing concepts Required 3 Years SQL Server DBA experience with 2012 or newer Required 8 Years SQL Server Database Design Required 8 Years SQL Server Database Performance monitoring Required 8 Years SQL Server database troubleshooting and query optimization Required 8 Years SQL Server Stored Procedure Design and implementation Required 8 Years SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Required 8 Years SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Required 8 Years SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Required 8 Years Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts (knowledge of Octopus Deploy and DbUp preferred).
