Location: Rochester, NY Duration: 8 weeks (2 months), might be longer depending on performance Hiring Process: client will be hiring off of the phone Description: This position will be responsible for working on the Metasolv M6 implementation within the client organization. The qualified candidate will need to work closely with the Engineering and Carrier departments to implement new functionality and maintain the existing customer base. Experience necessary with the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements, analysis, design, implementation, technical specs, code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution. Requirements include: Knowledge of wireline and wireless network architecture, network management protocols Experience in a telco, system integrator, service organization or telecom product supplier. 5+ years experience working with MetaSolv M6 Application Workflow Software development with Java/J2EE experience and MetaSolv M6 product experience Experience with Integration platforms like Webmethods / BEA Weblogic Version 8.1 SP5 / IBM Websphere / TIBCO / Mule Strong knowledge of Unix, XML/HTTP protocols, publish/subscribe technologies, or n-tier web-based distributed systems and localization issues, and their use in a massively scalable environment Experience installing service packs or patches on Unix machines running BEA Weblogic and/or Oracle databases -- Thanks & Regards Matt I.T.
