*Phone then Onsite * *Rates, : $55/hr * The Sr. VMware Systems Engineer/Architect will support a large enterprise VMware infrastructure. The candidate needs to have a technical understanding of VMware 4/5 as this position supports our server virtualization computing solution and the ongoing delivery of cost optimized VM services. As a member of the VMware team, the right individual will need to be strong in documentation and requirements planning. *Required Skills:* · Strong understanding of VMware vSphere and ESX technologies: VCD, SRM, vCOPS, AutoDeploy, Distributed Switches · Strong knowledge of VMware PowerCLI · Solid understanding of virtual and physical network, storage and security concepts and practices · Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and command line operations · Working knowledge of data center management concepts and practices · Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills · Must have strong written and verbal communication skills · VMware Engineer must have the ability to develop quantitative, prioritized action plans to mitigate risk · Process, procedure, and standards development experience · Solid team player with a “can do" attitude · Ability to work non-standard business hours supporting platform maintenance windows · Assist on-call VMware engineers with incident remediation *Desired Skills:*? · VCP preferred · Strong Linux background preferred, but open to Windows Priyanka Katiyar Technical Recruiter Nityo Infotech Corp.
