** ** Rate: $ Location: Park Avenue, NYC Primary skills: Loan IQ is the system; C# OR VB.net; SQL as the database (the req mentions BA skills…not looking for a BA, just someone that has these skills that can communicate to the stakeholders)…*Loan IQ is the most important* Client: Financial *They are looking for a developer with BA skills that specializes in Misys Loan IQ. They need to either be a C# OR VB .NET developer. SQL is the DB.* * Wachovia utilizes Loan IQ and Wells uses a system called AFS to manage their commercial loans. The manager stated that Loan IQ is going to be the system of choice moving forward and they need someone to come in and help with migrating the Wells LOB over to Loan IQ. There are 30-40 apps that use info from the Wells system and the manager stated that the person will wear two hats. 1) is building requirement documents and then transferring them to design documents. She stated that she needed someone that was good with the design aspect AND a good coder. She stated that her bottleneck is in the design*** *4 year degree and 7+ years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Description: Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.* *Designs systems specifications for complex business requirements, and develops and prepares computer solutions. Determines and implements the most efficient and cost effective solution (e.g. codes new or modified programs, reuses existing code through the use of program development software alternatives or integrates purchased solutions). Acts as a liaison between clients and applications area. Analyses problems outlined by systems analysts in terms of detailed equipment requirements and capabilities. Verifies program logic by preparing test data for trial runs. Works with Systems Analysts, operations technical staff and IT staff, as appropriate, in the testing and debugging of programs and participates in the overall systems testing. In conjunction with operations area technical staff, supports the implementation of the application into production. May confer with technical personnel. Performs related duties as assigned or requested. Receives general supervision, and is competent to work at the highest level of technical phases of programming while working on own most of the time.
