*SQL DBALocation: Louisville, KY6+Months C2Hire* *Must Have* *Production Environment* *ETL* *DTS* Position Summary: The SQL DBA will provide detailed analysis; design, tuning, testing, implementation and documentation of business application databases to support a network environment of clients interfacing with mainframe, Intranet/Internet and PC based applications Works with business team members to further enhance environment to meet operational objectives of the Association Collaboratively supports other business technology team members to help design, develop and implement applications Manages key department reporting database applications and data warehouses. Acts as the business-side technical liaison for IT issues Presents to all management levels to coordinate certain department functions or projects Responsibilities: Provides technical and systems design expertise in the development of new and the maintenance of exiting databases Is proactive in providing suggestions in regards to product development new services, technologies or enhancements which will assist the end user in improving overall service to our customers Creates and maintains database standards and policies Assist in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality and supporting production systems based on business requirements Administer key department reporting database applications Develops reporting from multiple internal and external data sources to support Works with developers to implement the logical database design in the physical environment Coordinates the development, tuning and modification of stored procedures Test, install and deploy all databases and stored procedures to production servers Manage database security -application and user logins Create SSIS/DTS ETL packages Performance tuning - Assists developers in analyzing application architecture and application code; performs tuning at the query and index level, file structure and organization Work in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment is a necessity Develops analytical projects that economically and concisely address departmental needs Performs other responsibilities as designed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field Minimum *6-8 years of experience as a professional SQL DBA Experience creating DTS/SSIS packages*, stored procedures and supporting an enterprise database environment. Experience with developing MS SOL Server databases Must demonstrate the ability to be self-directed and work independently Ability to Maintain strong relationships with business team members while handling multiple projects Additional Notes: Candidate must have strong ETL processes and data analysis skills and experience (they utilize Microsoft technologies to accomplish this) Must have strong communication skills Must be collaborative Must have the ability to work across the organization including C-Suite NOTES: CANDIDATES NEED TO BE US CITIZEN OR HAVE GC The positions are not remote. The contractors will be expected to come to the office Monday – Friday. Candidate location: client may want to do F2F interviews so we prefer candidates located close to Louisville, KY vs those at a great distance.
