*Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA * *Location: Hartford, CT* *Duration: 6 Months* *Rate: Open * Note: For this position we require EAD, GC’s and Citizens. *Overview: * Seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to serve as a key individual contributor on an existing team. *Responsibilities: * - Building new production Oracle 10g, 11g databases - Migrating existing production Oracle 10gR2 databases to Oracle 11g - Patching Oracle production databases. - Working knowledge/hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (10g,11g) hosted on a AIX Production environment - Deploying Oracle technologies (e.g., RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM/Grid, RMAN, Oracle Streams ,Database Vault ) - Oracle utilities - Working with PeopleSoft HRMS/Payroll and Financial systems - SQL tuning and or PL/SQL debugging/tuning - Following standard build documentation and best practices - Working with Oracle Support Services to resolve issues and familiar with Oracle’s escalation procedures to use as needed. - Working in an environment with change control processes and compliance processes - Support of production database environment – space projection and reclamation, SQL performance tuning of existing applications, etc. - Unix Shell scripting - Working with AIX *Qualifications: * Minimum Requirements: - 5 to 10 years of experience in database technology - Experience with Oracle 11g - Depth of knowledge of key Oracle technologies (e.g., RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM/Grid, RMAN, Oracle Streams, Database Vault) - Effective oral and written skills - Bachelors degree in computer science or related field - Oracle Certified Professional a plus. -- Neo Technical Recruiter 3 L’Amour CT, Dayton,New Jersey – 08810 | P: 201-204-3883 | F: 201-603-1326 | Web: www.augustuss.com Yahoo IM: [email protected] | [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
