* * *Job Title : Configuration Manager* *Location : Chicago, IL* *Duration :** 5 Months+* *Rate : DOE* *Note from Manager: * * Configuration Manager 2007 Administrator* Ability to administer a hierarchy of one Central Site - 3 Primary Sites - and 70 Secondary Sites. - Environment consists of 1700 + servers and 10,000 workstations. - Experience with setting up Systems Management Server (SMS) Advertisements, Queries, and Collections. - Ability to troubleshoot Package distributions and Advertisement failures. - Ability to analyze/troubleshoot SMS logs on Site Servers and clients. - Knowledge of Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, 2008 server and Windows XP workstations. - Ensure proper operation of the SMS infrastructure for all sites [Primary and Secondary] - Scripting of packages and different utilities that may be used in the environment. - Experience with Microsoft SMS Installer, process automation, test methodology, troubleshooting skills and file conflict resolution. - Knowledge and experience with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
