Team is responsible for Production Support (triage, analysis, bug fixes, root cause), infrastructure upgrades, minor process efficiencies, and 24x7 on-call responsibilities of the enterprise-wide eDelivery space and retail ETL and java processes. This position will be responsible for bug fixes and triage of tickets related to the WebSphere applications, ETL applications, and Autosys jobs that consist of the space. This position would also be responsible for monitoring the health of these processes and applications. On-call support is a requirement of this role. Additional Job Info: This resource will be responsible for overall production support of the eDelivery space. This position will be responsible for bug fixes, system events, help desk tickets and on-call support related to the WebSphere applications, ETL applications, Java components and Autosys jobs that consist of the space. This position will also be responsible for monitoring the health of these processes and applications. Along with eDelivery, there are also ETL processes and java applications for the Retail applications that would also be supported by this role, including Retail TradeManager, which is a key application for our Trading platform. Currently we send 22 million emails as firm through the StrongMail platform. The platform is Priority 1 and the processes are critical in meeting Service Level Agreements as well as SEC requirements in this space. We currently have 1 FTE that supports the entire eDelivery space and the Retail ETL jobs on the Retail Client Server team. This position would provide coverage in this space and reduce risk to overall support of these critical processes. Projects are currently underway that are in the process of transitioning to our area. The number of applications and proceses are continuing to grow which also dictates the need for more support staff. Currently transitioned processes include Email Address Management and Plan Supplied Email addresses. Future projects to be transitioned include: RPS 80 character email expansion, RPS Bounce to Print jobs, StrongMail transactional server processes and jobs (replacement to eFulfillment). Along with the projects currently underway, an Informatica upgrade is also starting. This is the optimal time to hire a consultant to step in and learn every ETL job on the team, and help test and migrate the jobs to the new version.
