Business Analyst Location: Brooklyn, New York
Duration: 3 months Experience Level 5-10 Education Level Bachelors Degree Position Description The IT Business Analyst is responsible for organizing data into standardized metrics against a set of criteria. These data sets will be produced on a recurring basis for several different audiences including senior management. Data sources are varied and content will require manual intervention to deliver the desired result. One of the challenges for the analyst is to identify opportunities to automate and therefore reduce the amount of time required to construct the reports. Another primary focus is using risk assessment, problem identification and trend analysis to drive continous process improvements for data collection, validation, conversion and presentation. The analyst should have a good understanding of technology and the Business in order to provide meaningful reporting and analysis from a wide range of data inputs (including but not limited to reports generated by the InfoSec, Corporate Security, Risk and IT Security organizations). The analyst needs to ensure that data capture is consistent, follows a repeatable procedure and can demonstrate improvements achieved over time.
