They want to bring them on around end of June/beginning of July. Our client located in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Business / ABAP Applications Specialist for a minimum 3 month contract assignment beginning in July 2010. Works within established parameters under limited supervision. Provides analysis, design, programming and implementation of business applications per user/business requirements using SAP’s ABAP and other Application tools. Initially this role will provide support for the recently deployed SAP ECC 6.0 solution. The refinement and enhancement of RICEF, including Workflow and ABAP related objects as problems are identified or change requests are approved. Key Accountabilities: 1. Performs problem analysis and root cause determination.Identify solutions for identified problems. 2. Designs, develops and maintains business applications per user specifications. 3. Prepares program specifications, file and report layouts, logic flow definitions and application documentation. Works directly with supervisor or other senior IT staff members. 4. Sets up procedures and testing methods to insure the ongoing accuracy of data maintained within all applications. 5. Prepares test data and verifies program logic. 6. Works with users to identify business requirements which could be automated to improve productivity, reduce costs, better serve the customer, or increase revenues. 7. Provides support, problem resolution, and training to the user community. 8. Stays on top of current and new technologies and makes recommendations to implement those which would have a positive impact on the business. In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP, SAP Query, Workflow, module pool programming, BADI, and Smart forms. • 8 years or more of Programming experience. • Excellent communication skills. Must be fluent in English, multi-lingual is a plus. • Additional SAP skills are desirable: Xi/Pi, and BI. • Basic understanding of the following functions: ? Manufacturing ? Sales / Marketing ?
