If the candidate does not have this, they will not be considered.* * * * * *Required Qualifications:* *• Highly skilled and experienced Database Architects/Administrators/Developers (5 + years)* *• Interpersonal/leadership* *• Excellent communication skills* *• Should be able to work in small teams amongst many talented professionals and participate in design review sessions* *• Database Architect* *• Expert knowledge of operational data management lifecycle (transactions through to reporting/archiving)* *• Experience with large scale (500GB+ disk space, hundreds of millions of rows in tables) database systems is a must* *• Logical database design and architecture experience required; Should understand normalized and de-normalized data structures* *• Must have experience with mission critical production environments with strict SLAs/uptime requirements* *• Mastery of database portioning concepts and working knowledge of latest partitioning options in MS SQL Server* *• Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 administration (setup & configuration)* *• Must have experience setting up and configuring production environments in an operational DBA role* *• Performance monitoring tools including Windows (PerfMon) * *• Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 programming and development (T-SQL)* *• Above average expertise in developing T-SQL scripts and objects including stored procedures, triggers, and views* *• Query performance analysis and tuning (preferably using SQL Profiler and SQL Trace)* *• Pluses, but not required:* *• Application database tier programming experience - e.g. ORM, Spring JDBC * *• Agile software development methodologies, TDD, TFD; must be quality driven* *• Experience with healthcare or financial industries, including regulations* *• Working with off-shore resources/team members* * * *
