Duration – 6+m Summary Description- This will be a very fast-paced, diagnostic and service-oriented position that is ideal for a contractor with proven experience in both hardware and software installation, reconfiguration, trouble-shooting and updating. It is required to have a working knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems environments, and ideally Teradata configuration experience. Key Areas of Responsibility: •Set up new Teradata systems to support database and application software; implementation includes hardware, network and software configurations involving various platforms, operating systems (Linux, Windows, Unix) and software packages. •Reconfigure existing Teradata systems to support user requirements. *This will involve hardware, network and software reconfigurations and updates. * •*Diagnose and repair hardware, network and software failures*.
