Title: Senior SQL Server DBA Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration : 9-12 months with possible extension Start Date: Appx 8/01/2010 (Client will interview on-site week of July 26) Bill Rate: $50/hr on C2C. *Qualifications* IT related Bachelors Degree required at a minimum. 5+ years of related experience in the design, maintenance, and administration of relational databases and a minimum of 5 years of experience with developing software at the data layer in an SQL server environment. Must also have software development skills in Object-Oriented programming including Microsoft ASP or .NET (.NET preferred). SQL Server Database administration experience and experience with SQL Server performance tuning, back-up, and recovery methods. Requires excellent communications and interpersonal skills. * Responsibilities*: Plan and administer database systems including definition, structure, documentation, operational guidelines, and security. Develop data models and perform planning of architecture, functions, modules, recovery, and implementation. Analyze and determine information needs, data relationships, data flow and storage requirements, and data output and reporting capabilities.
