We have urgent requirement of Oracle Developer in Boston, MA Oracle Developer Location:- Boston, MA 6 Months The candidate must have senior-level PL/SQL and Oracle tools. The candidate should be able to analyze and resolve data issues and also recommend and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Prior knowledge of financial industry and investment processes is a strong plus. Work requires solid mathematical skills and an excellent problem solving acumen with ability to work in a fast paced dynamic team oriented environment. Activities include but are not limited to: contributing to design sessions, coding, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, supporting beta testing, bug fixes and documentation. Organize and document the information collected from business analyst, system architect and designers, and developers, to facilitate the company-wide publication of project information, and to enhance system support efficiency. - *Expert PL/SQL developer on UNIX* ** - Client currently uses the 11g database - this is desired but not required - Not looking for heads down coders. Must be very strong Developers that know and can support business. (They are working in Equities and Risk) - Work with Oracle Reports 6i - Must know UNIX very well, will be required to write some scripts including Perl - Must be able to debug data issues.
