Campus Management Corporation (CMC) is looking for a Senior Performance
Testing Engineer for its Product Development Team.

In this role you will plan the performance testing effort for enhancements,
defects, as well as customer escalations. Estimating the testing effort,
identifying resource requirements, identifying and mitigating any risks,
defining the test strategy, designing the test cases, executing the test
cases, and reporting the results are some of the requirements for this role.
Also, in this role you will establish baselines for new features added to
our product lines.

Campus Management develops and maintains various products that are based on
a multi-tiered application platform. Performance testing can involve any or
all of the application tiers. Testing WinForms (COM and C# .Net) and
WebForms ASP.Net (C#.Net) applications in the Presentation-Tier; web
services in the API-Tier; and SQL objects in the Data-Tier are required for
successful test coverage.

This role requires strong development as well as testing skills. HP Load
Runner is used in performance testing. Experience with C, VB, or C#
scripting skills to program HP Load Runner is required.

Ability to maintain the performance testing environment is a must. This
requires deploying our products on Windows platforms (Windows 2003/2008) as
well as SQL Servers (2005/2008).

Candidates are required to be true team players and project a highly
professional attitude in their daily interactions with the Product
Development Team. This position requires working during off-hours such as
evenings and weekends as needed.

*Responsibilities*

•       Work with the Product Development Team to analyze requirements for
enhancements, defects, and escalations.

•       Plan, design, execute, document, and report performance tests for
enhancements, defects, and customer escalations.

•       Collaborate with project managers in establishing performance
testing timelines.

•       Participate in design and product walkthroughs to understand product
features to effectively design performance tests relative to those features.

•       Maintain Product Development’s performance testing environment.

•       Work with HP to maintain the Load Runner software and its
environment.

•       Work with the Software Configuration Management (SCM) Team to
understand environment and other technical requirements for deploying
software builds in the performance testing environment.

•       Install software builds on all tiers for various products to
establish and maintain the performance testing environments.



Qualifications:

•       Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer
Science, or Computer Engineering

•       5 years experience with HP Load Runner

•       5 years experience with performance testing of multi-tiered
applications

•       Experience with testing web services, web applications, and WinForms
applications.

•       Experience with web farms (load balancing, clusters, etc)

•       Experience in following technologies:

o    3+ years MS SQL Server (2005/2008)

o    3+ year Windows Server OS

o    MS COM (Component Object Model)

o    .Net

•       5+ years of development experience

•       QA experience is a plus

•       Skills in maintaining the performance testing environments

•       Strong skills in:

o    test planning, estimation of testing effort

o    writing test strategies

o    risk analysis

o    test results

•       Good verbal and written communications skills

•       Ability to complete tasks with minimal direction, following standard
operating procedures and sound business practices.

•       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

•       Must be flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and shifting
priorities.

•       Must be flexible to work non-standard working hours including
shifts.
