The person must have a solid background with application programming and testing of applications, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Requires 8+ of information services experience to include 5 years application development and testing experience in a distributed environment. Requires 5 years J2EE development experience to include JDK 1.5 or higher. Requires 4 years UNIX experience. Require at least 1 year experience with JMS and WebSphere MQ. Requires knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and 4 years experience with OO Design Requires experience with DB2 and Oracle databases. WebSphere development experience is a plus. Prefer experience with Python, Ruby and Perl scripting languages. Prefer experience with any of the following tools: Subversion, Maven, Hudson and/or Ant. Other: Previous experience building information and transactional services in a J2EE environment and integration the information between with the transactional applications.
