*6 months* *Rate:- $45/hr* * * *PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES* · Provide day to day technical support to the business unit. · Participate in global and local technical initiatives. · Monitor alarms raised by local service desk and resolve group tickets and comply with service and quality guidelines when managing incidents. · Respond to and comply with escalation policies and procedures. *TECHNICAL EXPERTISE* - Comprehensive working knowledge of Oracle 8i/9i/10g Database - Substantial experience in governance and administration of ETL tools such as: Oracle Data Integrator/Informatica - Excellent working knowledge of Unix shell scripting and Autosys - 2+ years experience of supporting J2EE applications employing Java technologies: Java2, Java Servlets2.4/2.3, JSP1.2, JDBC2.0, XML (DTD, XSL, JAXP), EJB2.0, JetSpeed, JAVA MAIL and SAX, DOM, JDOM, SOA, SOAP. *(This is not a MUST HAVE, It’s Desirable)* - Working knowledge of Apache / Tomcat servers - Working knowledge of WebSphere V5/V6 - Familiarity with Windows XP and/or Sun/Solaris system administration. *EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS* · Bachelor’s degree in computing or computing equivalent or technical-related area together with relevant working experience · Good organizational and communication skills · Fluent English – spoken and written · Strong sense of responsibility and service-minded attitude · Able to deal with competing pressures and set priorities accordingly · Self motivated, innovative and analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy · Dynamic personality and enthusiastic · Pro-active attitude and willingness to put forth suggestions for constructive improvement in provision of service · 4-6 years of relevant experience, ideally in investment banking, hedge fund services or other major financial institution *Thanks and Regards* *Jaspal* Hevar Systems Inc.
