*Job Title: Advent Geneva BA's (10 Positions)* *Duration: 6 month contract* *Location: New York* *Rate: Open * Our client is implementing Advent Geneva at a major client site and they need 10 Technical and/or procedural based BA’s for this project. * * *Responsibilities:* • Gather and translate business requirements into a solution design, modeling transactions through the system to ensure that the business requirements and integration requirements are met. • Data conversion strategy and execution • Design and testing across all phases of the implementation of a Geneva portfolio accounting solution • Will liaise with the Geneva business teams, as well as with technical development team. • Will ensure that the integration of the configuration with Core and Custom builds is architecturally sound. • Responsible for problem identification, status tracking, structuring work streams and engagement planning. • Creating overall application design and solution architecture. • Review, document and assess client operations. • Develop and present solutions and recommendations. • Gathering and prioritization of business requirements based upon business and user needs and technology capabilities. • Create strong working relationships with clients in business and IT roles. • Work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams. • Good understanding of reporting requirements • Good Knowledge of SQL Server, Reporting Services, XML and C# • Ability to assist in data mapping exercises • Understanding of data cleansing practices • Knowledge of Portfolio Accounting preferred • Good understanding of process modeling practices • Ability to articulate systems integration requirements (e.g. data types, sources, formats, and timeliness) • Unix skills preferred (e.g. core utilities, scripting, Unix file system concepts) * * *Skills:* • Experience in implementations, migrations and system integrations • At least *5 - 10 Years Financial Services or related experience *• Experience with *back-office workflow, trade processing, accounting, P&L calculations, and reconciliations* • Prior experience with *Swaps (CDS, CFDs, TRS, Basket Swaps) or Bank Debt* • Prior experience in *Fund Accounting or Fund of Funds Administration * • Experience developing with *workflow or BPM tools* • Experience with *messaging systems* • *Professional services or Consulting experience* highly desired. • Ability to effectively interact with senior clients. • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to create & deliver clear, powerful & concise presentations/proposals. • Must also have the technical aptitude to communicate with the development team and understand the application architecture. • Ability to plan and manage time and resources, establish priorities and meet goals. • Strong understanding of financial models; ability to create financial models. • Creativity with an eye to developing new and innovative solutions. • Strong problem identification and analytical skills; ability to frame problems appropriately. • Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project. -- Neo Sr. Technical Recruiter 3 L’Amour CT, Dayton,New Jersey – 08810 | P: 201-204-3883 | F: 201-603-1326 | Web: www.augustuss.com Yahoo IM: [email protected] | [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
