THIS IS A MID-LEVEL POSITION. * *Job Title : Project Manager Location : Annapolis, MD Duration : 1+ Year* *Description : * • Acts as the Project Manager for complex projects as assigned • Will act as a key liaison between multiple teams and facilitate cross-team and cross-functional communication. Organizes project tactical team tasks and activities to achieve an effective and efficient utilization of equipment, systems, processes and resources. • Works closely with cross-functional groups to resolve any project management issues in order to optimize results while minimizing project costs. • Develops and implements methods to systematically evaluate resources, systems, process technology and facility in order to analyze data and predict obstacles or situations that may cause a project delay or could impact project deliverables. • Develops a plan for addressing project issues, anticipates situations and develops strategies to assure project due dates are met • Develops and delivers status reports for clients, stakeholders, senior management; communicates regularly regarding progress of projects • Maintains, publishes, and distributes comprehensive project plans • Collects, analyzes and summarizes information on project phases, tasks, duration, resources and costs • Builds time estimates, develops project schedule, and addresses scheduling problems as they arise. • Develops and manages project plans from original concept through final implementation • Identifies, mitigates and recommends alternatives on handling risks and issues that threaten the successful completion of the project within deadline • Monitors and reports project progress to objectives in timeframes, scope, quality, costs and risks. Receives information on project status, changes and issues.
