Role: Senior Java J2EE consultants Note: Two positions- one front end and one Backend engineer
Location: San Jose, CA or Los Angeles, CA Start: ASAP Duration: 6 months Rate: $50/hr Max all inclusive COMPLETE BACKGROUND CHECK MANDATORY FOR THIS POSITION. MUST BE ABLE TO DO AN IN-PERSON INTERVIEW AT YOUR OWN COST *Responsibilities:* As a team member you will have an opportunity of work with various cross-functional teams to participate in entire life-cycle of the products. • Understand the business requirements, translate them into design and implementation approaches, and rapidly drive convergence towards the best solution. • Engineer the full product lifecycle, from concepts, design through to maintenance, managing prioritization and trade-offs across functional domains • Hands-on coding: Develop and maintain high quality code base, consistently delivering challenging, stable, and maintainable projects on schedule. *Minimum Job Qualifications:* • A solid computer science foundation including data structures, programming languages, operating systems, software engineering, and databases. • Strong experience with Object Oriented JavaScript, CSS, and DHTML • Experience working with YUI widgets, AJAX, and developing interactive web applications • Strong experience with JSP, Servlets, Struts, MVC, and Spring • Strong, hands-on Java, J2EE development skills - ideally with JBOSS else Web Logic/Websphere • Knowledge of cross browser issues and internet security • Strong background in object oriented design and design patterns • Excellent debugging and testing skills • Attention to detail, strong hands on, flexible with assignments, and can-do attitude • Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills to work with various cross functional teams on multi-team projects • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills • Should have a strong sense of commitment and responsibility. • BSCS/MSCS or equivalent *Preferred Job Qualifications:* • Experience with Databases • Experience in Advertisement management systems is definitely a plus • Experience with building large scale, distributed, highly scalable and highly available internet enabled enterprise server systems • Self starter/high energy, deadline-driven, dependable and can deliver results with aggressive deadlines • Track record in mentoring junior engineers • Knowledge of production support activities *Thanks and Regards* *Jaspal* Hevar Systems Inc.
