This person should have knowledge of data warehouse best practices and be in a position to provide recommended enhancements to the existing warehouse as we progress with specific projects including the build out of new data marts. Knowledge and experience with rules engines is a plus. *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* • Responsible for architecting data warehouse structures and ETL requirements • Conduct or participate in design sessions with the business and internal technical staff • Responsible for ETL and other development activities pertaining to the warehouse • Conduct unit testing, regression testing, stress testing and coordinate user acceptance testing • Participate in development projects external to the data warehouse. Some projects might consist of data conversions, mapping feeds into the core system, and exporting data to foreign systems. *MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS* • Extensive Data Warehousing & Data Mart experience working both as a developer and architect • *Expert RDBMS knowledge of Oracle 10g* • Extensive Oracle development experience with emphasis on complex SQL, PLSQL, and Tuning • Worked with large scaled and high volume databases. • 5 years experience as an Oracle developer working on large scale projects • 3 years SOLID experience as a Data Warehouse and Data Mart Architect • 2 years experience with ETL tools (DataStage a plus 8.1.2) • Database experience with Logical and Physical modeling • Tuning applications for OLTP and OLAP • Supports best practices related to the OBIEE and Data Warehouse systems • Proficient in planning, managing scope of work, and keeping to the time estimates • Develops and executes comprehensive test plans • Good verbal and writing skills • Ability to work independently *Additional ‘nice to have’ skill sets* • Oracle 11g • DataStage8.1.2 • QualityStage • Business knowledge of Mutual Fund Industry • UNIX Shell Scripting • JAVA J2EE Experience related to WebSphere. • BI Tools: Hyperion, Business Object (Universe/Webi, Crystal Reports) • Knowledge of Toad or SQLNAV *Must Have Excellent Communication Skills* *Feel Free to call me for further Information!!!!!* Thanks & Regards *Kris* Technical Recruiter Nexgenb Inc.
