*Responsibilities*
* Partner with clients to help understand our users and metrics, define
goals, and serve as the Design Lead
* Collaborate with a creative team of other IA's, Designers, Editors,
Researchers, Usability Specialists, and Creative
* Directors to tackle complex projects of varying size
* Ensure that design team efforts are in sync with the client's business
goals, expectations, and budget
* Developing and/or participating in the development of user personas
and scenarios
* Define and create site/application structures, new concept maps,
wireframes, and user flows
* Work closely with our usability team to test and refine designs and
prototypes
* Partner with our development team to ensure technical feasibility and
flawless implementation
*Qualifications*
* 4+ years experience in interactive design and/or information
architecture
* Print and/or online portfolio with examples of design documents
including personas, site maps, wireframes, prototypes Full-time availability
between the hours of 8-6 on weekdays
* General knowledge of financial services helpful
* 3 references with and for whom you have worked on design solutions for
complex websites
* Creativity, imagination, and a sense of humor
* Ability to understand customers needs, motivations, and behaviors and
translate them into deliverable tasks
* Strong knowledge of interaction design and methodology
* Proficient in Abode Web Design Software (i.e. Fireworks, Photoshop,
Dreamweaver & In-Design)
* Not afraid to sketch rough ideas and wireframes in order to get
message across
* Detail-oriented and highly developed organizational skills including
the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Experience with rich Internet application design and use of content
management templates is a plus
* Experience in rapid, iterative software development, such as Agile is
a plus
* Demonstrated experience using web analytics to inform design decisions
