Job Title: BUSINESS ANALYST with strong financial industry experience Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 12 Months Required Skills * Trading, Financial, Test Case Documentation, Project Management Methodology, CMMI, AQMS * Ample Brokerage experience & knowledge * Adept at assessing application usability / user experience; * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * Independent, facilitate meetings, manage task plan and deliverables. * 3+ years business analyst experience, demonstrating progressive leadership experience in each of the following areas: * development of project initiation documentation to formulate user needs and scope of work: * definition of detailed requirements * prioritization of business requirements to define project scope * development and refinement of business process flows * development and execution of user acceptance test plans * 3-5 years financial services industry experience, with emphasis on brokerage and banking environment preferred * Extensive understanding of the full project life cycle, with 2+ years experience using CMMI (AQMS) or other project management methodology. * Ability to contribute and provide direction across multiple projects varying in size and complexity; experience on medium to large scaled projects over $500k. * Excellent analytical skills with the proven ability to communicate and influence effectively at various level throughout the organization. * Ability to work as an effective team member as well as an independent contributor. * Experienced in meeting and group facilitation. * Ability to provide creative solutions to business and system problems. * Strong client service orientation. * Sharp focus on achieving results; persists at completing tasks despite challenges. * Well organized; plans activities and consistently follows up. * Previous exposure to a technical environment preferred.
