Position: Mainframes / Programmer Analyst Need a Senior Level candidate Location: NYC Duration: 12+ months

Position Functions or Responsibilities: The Client requires the services of a Programmer Analyst to work on their Employee Information Systems (EIS). The EIS system pays over 100,000 employees. It also handles related payroll information such as Budgeting, Personnel, Accounting and booking of payrolls. The work involves mostly the timekeeping/payroll aspect of the EIS systems. The timekeeping area tracks employees time worked and time balances - (Cumulative Absence Reserve) with different rules being applied to various categories of absences and timekeeping transactions. There are also many variations for different client employee title classes. Candidates will be responsible for online and batch programming as well as systems and data analysis for the Timekeeping system. There may also be some general work on the employees payroll system. The main emphasis is timekeeping.
