*Location: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: Long Term* * * *Skills Required:* *Yrs.* » Capacity Planning 8-10 Yrs » Coding 8-10 Yrs » ETL 8-10 Yrs » Informatica 8-10 Yrs » Unit Testing 8-10 Yrs The Informatica Administrator is responsible for consultative and functional implementation with Business Application IT customers regarding Informatica process design, Workflow implementation,, scheduling, quality assurance reviews, deployments, turn-over and reporting for enterprise wide ETL efforts. In addition this individual will be the primary administrator of Medica's Informatica environment and be responsible for: - Administer and support ETL solutions based on Informatica technology - Review existing Informatica configuration/architecture and lead efforts to tweak and tune the performance of an existing Informatica processes - Create high-level design documents, technical specifications, coding, unit testing, systems testing, perform post-production verification - Develop evaluation plans, education programs, performance monitoring, corporate policies and procedures - Develop and execute test plans - Develop system specifications, operational procedures, and systems architecture documents and diagrams - Monitor, tune, diagnose, and resolve problems with the ETL environment and its performance - Develop and administer capacity planning processes to ensure performance is in line with business expectations. - Support day to day operation by making sure all feeds are successful. - Escalate, document, and communicate when problems occur in a timely fashion - Provide off-hour support when needed - Act as a liason between Application Development, Information Management, Co This position will also require after hours support and 1 week a month of on-call support, 24/7.
