Ideally the candidates with have a blend of C/C++ and java, *C/C++ in the most critical*. These 2 candidates will be doing the design, development and performance testing. They are in the process of redesigning and developing multiple applications prior to moving the applications into the new Data Center. All the applications are written in Java or C++ and run on a WebLogic application server connecting to a Oracle database running on a UNIX platform. In addition to the design, development and testing of the enhanced applications all candidates will be expected to due performance testing on thier own applications or other peoples applications that have been rewritten. They will also need to be able to some Korn (Bourne also works) Shell scripting. There is also a responsibility called "MAKE FILE"; this is where they give the Compiler instruction for what is going to be deployed and how it is all linked together. Thanks & Regards Matt I.T.
