This resource will be responsible for maintaining existing reports which are leveraged by the Finance, Payroll and Accounting team. In addition the resource will be providing new reports for use by the executive team, FP&A, Call Center Site leadership and clients. The reports make extensive use of SQL and have complex business logic. There is an natural progression opportunity for this resource to move to the project team which is implementing OBIEE 11g. Technical Qualifications: • 3 to 5 years experience with Hyperion Interactive Reporting (BI Analytics) tool. The experience will include usage through all stages of implementation (design, development, testing and deployment). • Experience with basic data warehousing leveraging SQL 2005. • Experience supporting BI applications in a production environment. Production support via pager to our global operations organization is rotated among the members of the BI team. • Working knowledge and experience with ETL/Data integration . There are several resources on the BI team that do the data acquisition (integration of data from various sources into the enterprise data warehouse) • Expert SQL, PL/SQL and tuning skills • Expert data modeling including star schema Soft Skills • Problem solving – ability to dig into existing system, understand intricacies and provide solutions • Teamwork – with such a small team, there is a high need to work closely together and support each other • Hands-on individual contributor – with such a small team, the need to perform a myriad of tasks at various levels is essential. • Mentoring – Some members of the team are junior and we are looking for someone who can teach others while performing your own tasks. • Prioritization – as we move from a fire-fighting mode into a more structured environment where we are working strategic initiatives alongside maintenance and defects, prioritization and ability to focus is needed Domain • Desired - • BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) - Experience working with call center metrics. • Experience producing analytics reports for Finance, Payroll and Accounting organizations. The resource does not need to be a CPA but needs to have worked with these teams from a BI perspective and have working knowledge of terms, data, reporting requirements, etc of this type of organization. Desired additional skills • Hyperion Interactive Reports to OBIEE migration • Using Hyperion Interactive Reporting with the Oracle BI Server • 3 years OBIEE 10.x implementation and support experience and/or previous experience with BI Analytics 7.9.6 as part of a packaged Oracle BI Application configuration • 3 years Experience with Oracle OBIEE in an Administrator and Developer role working with OBIEE Answers, Dashboards, Delivers, and BI Publisher • Installation and configuration of BI Analytics/OBIEE tools and components on UNIX/Windows environment. • Thorough understanding of system administrator activities like upgrade from Siebel Analytics to OBIEE, Environment and Server details. • Experience with OBIEE modeling layers including presentation, logical, and physical • Building the Reporting Metadata layer and the Reports • Expert technical knowledge of OBIEE server architecture. • Expert knowledge of Security set-up for the entities of the application (on both Repository file and Web catalog file) • Web Catalog development and administration. • Performance tuning of OBIEE When applying please mention the JOB ID NUMBER.
