Position Title: Sr. Programmer Duration: 6 months with the strong possibility of extension
Location: Jacksonville FL Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 6+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requisition Notes: Ability to use multiple tools and techniques to facilitate the design, development, and integration of business systems Knowledge of a wide range of technical systems or expertise in a more narrow range Ability to develop increasingly complex business systems Ability to contingency plan, analyze systems for efficiencies, and develop test case scenarios Knowledge of multiple business functional / technical areas Ability to communicate effectively (both written and orally) with all levels of audiences Microsoft Office skills including Visio Unix/Linux Oracle PLSQL C/C++ Pro*C/C++ with Stored Procedures Makefile scripting for Pro*C/C++ compilation Shell scripting or Pearl programming Java, J2EE (Medium) MQ Series Object oriented programming (Expert) CLIPS business rules engine experience (Expert) Rational ClearCase (Medium) BEA TUXEDO Administration (Familiar) BEA TUXEDO Programming Skills (Familiar) *Thanks and Regards, * *Jaspal * 3290 E.
