Position : San & Storage Administrator Location: Remote Projected Duration: 6 Months+ Rate:50c2c Project Description and Tasks The SAN and Storage administration position will be responsible for day to day support including monitoring, configuration, and storage provisions. Tasks include but are not limited to checking for new storage requests; Cisco switches daily health checks and zoning management, and managing storage utilization/allocation spreadsheets. Must be willing to provide 24/7 pager coverage. Candidates must have current Storage skills including: Storage Provisioning on SVC, DS8k & DS6K, & XIV Cisco Fabric Switches Provide Storage support to Admin teams in HPUX, LINUX Intel, AIX, VMWare, and Solaris Experience in HPUX, LINUX, Intel, AIX, VMWare, and Solaris OS would be an advantage Special Skill Requirements Ability to troubleshoot issues independently Ability to perform in a stressful environment Experience with Remedy change management is advantage Experience in a remote environment Our client is currently interviewing and placing the right candidates.
