I have a 2 month contract opportunity in Denver that is* immediate* for a SAP ABAP ECC Developer. *Must have very good communication skills*. This will move very quickly. They need at least 1, maybe 2 developers to start ASAP. Location: North Denver Rate: all inclusive Length: 2 months, possibly longer The SAP Developer will be primarily responsible for the development in all modules of the SAP ECC system using the ABAP programming language. Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs. Responsible for working with analysts and business users to translate functional/logical designs and specifications into technical solutions and specifications ensuring a comprehensive documented design. Maps work to user specification and removes errors and deviations from specification to achieve user-friendly processes. Responsible for the coding, testing (including documenting the results) and on-going customer support of the solutions. The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work closely with functional analysts, basis and the business. As a key member of a small team, the developer will have the opportunity to learn many aspects of the business as well as the SAP system. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* *Functions, duties, and responsibilities necessary to accomplish the main objective of the job.* · Development of reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and dialog transactions within an SAP ECC 6.0 system within a make to order environment using the variant configurator (experience with at least 1 preferably two of the following modules - SD, MM, PP, FI, CO) · Works with business and functional analysts converting business requirements, processes and design into comprehensive robust, efficient and stable technical designs and solutions · Designs and develops solutions leveraging the SAP environment before customizing the system (recognizes when customizing is the right thing to do versus a short term solution that will create problems later) · Prepares comprehensive technical design documentation required according to methodology for all technical solutions · Interact with other team members and performs thorough due diligence to ensure understanding of the potential impacts of proposed solutions on other areas of the systems and/or project. · Provide estimates of work required to implement solutions · Develops thorough test plans and scripts, executes and supports execution of all testing for technical solutions including documentation of the testing to ensure stable and robust solutions and are implemented · Ongoing support of the existing SAP system - resolve coding, configuration, security, performance and data issues in a timely fashion. · Communicate clear and timely status reporting on progress, task assignments and issues · Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills required, as well as communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to quickly establish credibility & foster collaborative relationships throughout the business is necessary · Contribute to enhancing IT tools, methods and approaches · Good organizational skills, detail oriented · Committed to provide a high level of customer service to our customers *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS* List the degree or certification required. List the years of experience in the related field required. · Bachelors Degree in computer science or business related major is a plus · SAP technical certifications a plus · 5+ years of SAP Development using ABAP · 2+ years of 4.6c release or greater · Developed within Multiple modules of SAP (at least two of: MM, PP, SD, FI, CO), Variant Configurator a plus · 2-3 SAP lifecycle implementations · SAP Data Dictionary structure and relationships *QUALIFICATIONS* *Individual behavioral traits which will assist in the successful completion of the job (communication skills, leadership skills, ability to work in a team environment, etc.)* · Strong ABAP coding, debugging skills, code performance tuning, and general trouble shooting skills and understands standard SAP functionality and the integration across modules · Development in SAP 4.6c. 470 or ECC using the following technical tools/objects: ABAP, SAPscript, Smartforms, Adobe forms, User Exits, Enhancements, Business Add-ins, Enhancement Spots, IDOC's, Data Loads, LSMW, eCatt, BAPI's, RFC's, ALE, ALV, Dialog Transactions · Build and design extensions to existing and creation of new data dictionary object with appropriate technical and referential integrity · Interprets business requirements and design and can convert them into a technical design (including detailed documentation) · Can convert business requirements, processes and design into a technical design and document this in an articulate manner · Recognizes impacts of changes and ensures appropriate due diligence performed before making changes and is thorough in testing solutions before implementing to avoid rework · A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and take direct requests from business and IT colleagues · Completes assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner with minimum direction · Demonstrates a sound knowledge and application of IT change, release, problem, incident and continuity management processes · Has an understanding and recognizes the importance of the software development lifecycle processes and typical problems associated with the implementation of information systems, from initial concept through development and implementation to operation and support · Demonstrates strong knowledge and application of testing strategies, methodologies · Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and closure · Good organizational skills, detailed oriented · Must be committed to provide a high level of customer service · Demonstrates the highest standards of professional behavior in dealing with clients, colleagues and staff ** * * Please send your consultants resumes with: full-name, contact details (phone # and e-mail address), availability, current location (city and state) and hourly rate on C2C.
