*Job Description: ***



*The Application Support Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting
multiple functional rich high availability business applications, highly
demanding business users and autosys batch jobs. *

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to - process
improvement, automating repetitive tasks, maintaining knowledge base and
documentation.

Requirements : The skills that this role requires include excellent
analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to multi-task, problem
solving skills, and documentation skills.



Requirements :



 • At least 4 years of experience supporting multiple complex applications.

• Experience working with the business users.

• Experience supporting Autosys (or similar) batch jobs.

• At least mid-level experience with UNIX scripting and vi editor.

• Solid working knowledge of UNIX, Linux and Windows

• At least mid-level experience with SQL scripting; for Sybase and/or Oracle


• Experience managing critical incidents and bridge calls.

 • Excellent verbal and email communication skills.

• Understanding of ITIL Incident Management and Problem Management

• Good understanding of the investment universe Oncall

 – Should be available to perform 24*7 on-call support and work any shift as
required Schedule: 2nd shift timings are from 3 PM to 11:30 PM;

1st shift timings are from 8 AM to 5 PM Potential candidate will be flexible
to work either shift, as well as provide support over weekends and holidays.




Optional :

• Experience with WebLogic, PowerCenter, JAWS, and BMC Remedy (incident &
problem management)

• Financial Industry experience (preferably supporting front-office or
back-office applications)

• Understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change management

 • Autosys
