• Providing pre- & post-sale expertise in Forms & BPM technologies • Providing expert consulting services to organizations implementing large scale "Customer Engagement" solutions • Proven experience in leading Solution Architecture & Applications Architecture activities including taking lead accountability for key deliverables • Organization & lead requirements, scoping & design workshops • Innovatively translating sophisticated requirements into system architecture • Providing leadership & facilitation for Developers & Business Analysts in architecture matters • Translating detailed requirements & complex technical matters in alignment with the varying IT knowledge of key stakeholders • Supporting the growth & expansion of our business. • Previous experience in Government & Financial Services is highly desirable. Required: • Previous experience with & Business Process Management (BPM) • Previous experience architecting & implementing large scale Java/ J2EE solutions • Excellent Communications skills • Experience with Adobe Flex is highly desirable The Job • Demonstrate experience in leading Solution Architecture & Applications Architecture activities including taking lead accountability for key deliverables • Organize & lead requirements, scoping & design workshops • Innovatively translate sophisticated requirements into system architecture • Provide leadership & facilitation for Developers & Business Analysts in architecture matters • Work both independently & in a collaborative environment with an influential development team • Solve complex technical problems with an analytical approach • Work with enterprise level application environments & products • Develop strong relationships to build stakeholder confidence backed by delivering commercial business solutions • Translate detailed requirements & complex technical matters in alignment with the varying IT knowledge of key stakeholders • Display a passion for using IT solutions to deliver tangible business process improvement Personal Competencies: • 3 years minimum experience in a Solution Architect capacity • Hands-on experience, deploying Forms / BPM solutions • 5 -10+ years software industry experience • Enjoy interfacing directly with clients • Web application experience including: Rich client applications using Flex or Flash • Exposure to a wide range of J2SE, J2EE & third party APIs • J2EE Application Server • XML skills, including XSLT, XSD, DOM, WebServices, etc. • Eclipse plugins or extensions/SWT • Exposure to Workflow systems &/or PDF Dynamic Forms • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or similar • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills • MBA or Master degree in CS or CIS a plus • Possess excellent problem solving skills • Must be willing to travel up to 20-40% • Strong interpersonal skills The Company Avoka is a leader in delivering Customer Experience Management (CEM) solutions that enable organizations to deliver exceptional online experiences throughout the entire customer journey of Discovery, Application, Service & Communications.
