Java/J2EE Development (1 resource) Job Description * Senior Enterprise Systems Developer for eCRM * Design and deliver releases interfacing with 5-10 other enterprise systems; within committed timeframes * Plan and execute deliverables for matrixed team in onshore-offshore model * Will require hands-on approach beyond coding, in troubleshooting and architecture planning 1) Verizon Experience (for SOW/ Contractors/ T&M): Some working experience with Verizon will be plus but no more than 1 year without a 12 month gap. 2) Core Working hours – 9 to 6 pm CST, with an hour of break in between. Hours may change but overall weekly hours will be around 30 to 50 hours a week, work can be required at Verizon manager’s discretion for off-hours/ weekends. 3) Work Location: regular Verizon office location (like for Texas, 700 Hidden Ridge, Irving TX). No WFH, unless person has emergencies and approval from Verizon manager. 4) Working model – Deliverables must meet satisfy Verizon manager’s technical and service requirements. Team work with entire team across program, stakeholders and end user across multiple locations/ time-zones is expected and critical. Required Skills. 1) At least 5 years of development experience in back-end technologies; J2EE, Solaris, Linux, Oracle, WebLogic, MQ administration etc. 2) At least 3 years of hands on development experience in front-end technologies including XML, XSL, JavaScript, DHTML,PHP 3) At least 3 years of leading large scale Unix and Linux based J2EE application with very high transaction volume, 300GB plus of DB, 10,000 plus customer base from multiple lines of business 4) At least 2 years of experience of directly/ indirectly leading a multi-skill team of 2 to 10 plus developers and non-developers 5) At least 2 years of Experience in delivery of parallel release of high pressure and visibility 6) Large scale application development experience with comprehensive usage experience of Profiler, load tester, versioning and Debuggers for application, DB, Deployment, etc. 7) At least 3 years of direct client and stakeholder management experience 8) At least 3 years of “Business/ Solutions Development” and Requirements Facilitation/ Creation experience 9) At least 3 years of strong experience in offshore-onshore model of delivery 10) At least 5 plus years of total work experience in IT/ Software Development 11) BS/ MS in Computer Sciences or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Degree 12) Very Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills 13) Very Good Written & Verbal Communication skills and strong presentation skills 14) At least one reference each from; IT, Clients and Direct Team members 15) Good to have i.
