*Job Title: SQL Developer Location: Madison, WI (Local or Near BY) Duration: Four to five months with option to extend* Job Descreption: SSRS Developer Validate that the report design and technical specifications are complete, consistent, concise, and achievable. Responsible for collaborating with the report designer, business analyst and data analyst to resolve gaps in report design specifications and ensuring these decisions are documented. Produces SSRS 2008 R2 reports meeting 100 percent of business requirements. Work with business end-users to determine their reporting requirements. Develop report design specifications. Proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating scope, design, development issues and recommending potential solutions. Participates in report design reviews. Conducts report unit tests and code reviews. Helps builds consensus around the report solution with the Client. Participates in system and integration test; identifies and remedies solution defects. Develop the system test and UAT scripts. Generate test data sets to validate business rules. Participate in UAT cycle. Reconcile system test results with expected results. Be an expert in Microsoft’s SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2008 R2, SharePoint 2010 and Excel-based PowerPivot 2010.
