Job Title : Java Developer
Duration : 6-12 months+
Location : Chevy Chase, MD
Local candidates preferred.
ONLY POSITION THAT DOESN’T REQUIRE ARCHITECT EXPERIENCE.
Position Comments: Develop the claim applications using JAVA J2EE. The person
will be developing designs, prototypes and application changes. In addition,
the person will be new development, enhancements and production support items,
with a possibility of mentoring others.
Job Description: Specializes in Java - Has experience in the development,
maintenance, and testing of software programs. Responsibilities include
Coding, testing, and debugging application programs from functional
specifications. These individuals will work from program specifications or
prototypes * Works under the direction of a team leader, senior technical
person or analyst. (3-5 years)
At least 5 years of experience with large scale client server or web
development using Java/J2EE. Must be familiar with developing webservices.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent
analysis, design and troubleshooting skills. Must be familiar with UML and OO
tools. Must have experience with MQ series. Experience with Oracle is a plus.
