Job Title:SAS 9.0 Developer - Open Systems
Relevant Experience (Yrs) :7+Years
Rate : 50$/Hr
Technical/Functional Skills :7+ years' experience in Analytics and Reporting on
Open Systems
3+ years' experience in SAS for Open Systems, preferably SAS 9
Strong skills in Data mining and SQL Queries
Experience in both Windows and Unix environments is a bonus
Solid analytical skill with interest in learning business processes in a
multi-platform system
Adept in SAS Base and Macro programming
Proficient in data warehousing and data analysis
Familiar with Unix scripting
Familiar with Repository handling (eclipse, wincvs)
Good problem solving skill applied to debugging process flows and program error
logs
Able to work with business clients to understand and analyse business
requirements
Good communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities:Essential Duties & Responsibilities
SAS Developer (Open Systems)
Some of the responsibilities include:
Interaction with IT and Business stakeholders to create/analyze requirements
and translate into solutions
Develop base and macro programs
Develop and improve existing reports and data interfaces using SAS
Convert existing SAS code into high quality SAS code that is efficient (fast),
automated, maintainable, and follows industry best practices
Will be expected to mentor colleagues and be proactive in developing colleague
skill sets to have a better understanding of SAS coding, information maps,
stored processes and web reports.
Assist with SAS administration including performance tuning and scheduling
programs.
Help build a team in Onsite-Offshore model
Collaboration outside business hours to enable a communication/ overlap with
Offshore team
