Good knowledge and experience in understanding logical mapping and data model to build Physical Design documents . 3-5 years of extensive hands-on experience with all aspects of the BI/DW Life Cycle . Working knowledge of MS SQL Server & Oracle data structures preferred . 2-3 year of experience in one or more BI tools (Cognos, Microsoft Reporting, etc) . Experience in implementing a data warehouse; understanding of Inmon or Kimball DW methodologies . Strong communication and presentation skills . Strong data modeling skills (normalized 3rd NF modeling and dimensional modeling) . Must be detail and process oriented . Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environment, and multi-task . Possess a collaborative working style and the ability to work independently in a team environment . Perform extensive data analysis and develop data mapping and functional solution design documents for ETL developers . Works with business analysts / end users to capture reporting requirements and translating to technical specs for the enterprise data warehouse . Works with the DAR Team and other IT teams to ensure feasibility of design and clarify user requirements . Performs source data model / data analysis, and target EDW data model / data analysis .
