Title: Windows 7 Migration/support Specialist Location: St. Louis, Missouri Duration: 6 months Start: 8-Jul-2013 Experience required: 3-5 years Rate per hour: $30-$35/Hr Mandatory Skills: * Sound knowledge on Windows 7/XP OS and applications * Image deployment using Microsoft Deployment Technology (MDT) and Windows Deployment Services (WDS) * Well versed in installing End user business applications and configurations * Resolving desktop/laptop/blackberry/iPhone/printers/PC peripherals hardware, software and application related issues. * Hardware integration and configuration on multiple vendor platforms Roles and responsibilities: * Imaging and deploying End users laptops/desktop from Windows Xp to Windows 7 as per Organization defined process. * Perform software installation, configuration and upgrades. * Resolve incidents reported post migration. * Backup the data from existing windows XP workstation and restore to new Windows 7 Workstation. * Status reporting, documentation. * Provide Level 3 onsite and remote support to end-users in troubleshooting and resolving. * Co-ordiantion and communication with end users on schedules and deployment. * Customer focused, positive attitude and quickly adopt to new technologies. * Work with different teams, end users.
