*Performance Test Lead for Agent Desktop Application*. This will then need
a *Performance Test Engineer* as well.



Description:

We are looking for a talented, self-organizing, innovative Performance Test
Lead who is capable of leading a team of testers and quality assurance
people and work with our offshore teams to successfully provide QA services
to support Performance Testing needs for IT applications, web services and
backend for DIRECTV IT organization. The successful candidate will be a key
contributor in the QA team in a very dynamic work environment and should be
able to work under pressure and changing environment demands.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

*             Independently lead Performance Test efforts for multiple
applications in parallel

*             Create, review and approve Performance test strategy and
planning

*             Host performance test plan walkthroughs and final test
results review with Stakeholders

*             Ability to script with HP load runner and other performance
test tools

*             Plan and coordinate Performance testing for Enterprise and
non-Enterprise releases

*             Review and provide feedback on Requirements, SAS, Design,
Prebuild infrastructure designs and architecture diagrams

*             Plan, coordinate, and conduct Performance Testing with other
application test leads and offsite teams

*             Create Test documentation according to SQA  Test Methodology
and perform Test Plan Walkthroughs

*             Overall defect management for releases

*             Plan, coordinate and Create test data and test data strategy
for SQA performance testing

*             Create, Review and approve LOEs from HP and other vendors

*             Generate, Review and approve Test results and coordinate
final test results review with stakeholders

*             Responsible for Release Status Reporting

Qualifications



Education and/or formal training:

*             Bachelor's degree, and/or a minimum of three to five years of
progressively challenging large-scale, multi-disciplinary testing
experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

*             Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand
and fast paced environment.

*             Must have effective communication skills to share testing
knowledge and test strategy in a collaborative atmosphere in order to lead
and influence positive quality results among other test teams.

*             Must have proven experience as IT Quality Assurance for small
to large projects

*             Must have experience in planning, preparing, and executing
integration and performance testing; including end-to-end test scenarios
across multiple systems and batch processes

*             Must have experience in developing test strategies, and
managing all aspects of software testing, including outsource vendor
management and business interaction

*             Must have experience in service level testing

*             Must be able to understand project and business objectives.

*             Must be able to manage risks and issues, project and resource
planning.

*             Must have in depth knowledge of software and business test
methodologies

*             Must be experienced in different testing techniques with
proven best practices

*             Must have the ability to work in a matrix organization

*             Must be able to quickly adapt to business changes.

*             Must have HP Load Runner experience

*             Must have experience in Front End, Backend and Operational
testing requirements.

*             Proficient in Quality Center, MS Office Suite, HP Load
Runner, Shunra and Soasta.

*             Proficient in Automated Test Techniques and Practices

*             Proficient in GUI, Functional, Regression, System, Stress,
Load and Performance Testing

*             Proficient in Business Rules and Object-oriented Modeling
testing

*             An understanding of Java, HTML, and XML

*             Proficient in Web Services testing

*             Proficient in SQL for database testing

*             Proficient in Web and Client/Server based application testing

*             Proficient in standard tools and utilities such as SQL Query
tools

 Other position Considerations:

*             Travel may be required to attend work related meetings and
training sessions.

needed coverage for customer service levels and/or time-sensitive projects.
