Client: Bank of Tokyo Location: Jersey City Must-haves: Strong hands-on QTP experience – Must be at least a 9 out of 10 Experience testing large-scale DW/ ETL applications (They use DVO, which is the data validation option found in Informatica PowerCenter) This is part of their huge project to replace all of their core banking applications and there is a lot of integration with the new systems in Tokyo. Manager says he’s not too concerned with soft skills. He needs a hands-on QTP guru. – Financial/banking NOT required. Job Description: Responsibilities Include: Create automated test scripts using QTP. Execute test scripts and document test results. Verify test execution results and update traceability matrix. Document defects with detailed descriptions and supporting information. Report progress to test manager and project team. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in carrying out the responsibilities listed above. Strong knowledge of testing principles and techniques. 6-7 years of experience in creating and executing automated test scripts for complex business applications, preferably in the Banking domain. Good ETL (e.g. Informatica) and Data Warehouse (DWH) testing experience. Good UNIX skills. Experience with Batch Process Testing. Experience in the testing GUI applications. Experience with HP Quality Center, specifically the Test Plan, Test Lab and Defect modules.
