Rome: TM1 Software Developer Location : Malvern, PA Duration : Long term Interview:Face to face Description: Ø Our direct client located in the Malvern, PA area is seeking a TM1/Cognos developer. Ø This is initially a 6 month role with the possibility of a contract extension. Ø This role will be responsible for the development of TM1 Planning and Forecasting tools for Supply Chain operations. Ø This is an on-site role 5 days a week at our clients facility in the Malvern. Ø Candidate must have the ability and desire to interview face to face on-site and also to work on-site 5 days per week. Position Responsibilities: Ø Senior level developer position responsible for the development of TM1 Planning and Forecasting Tools for Supply Chain Operations including Financial Forecasting/Budget, Demand Forecasting, Production Planning. Ø This role requires a deep experience in software development, data structures and Reporting and data analysis systems that include Cognos/SSRS dashboards, standard reports, and ad-hoc reporting capabilities. Ø Participate in design, architecture and testing initiatives Ø Debug, monitor, and troubleshoot our code and deployed solutions Ø Write relational and multidimensional database queries Ø Design, create , deploy and maintain ETL processes Ø Develop and maintain TM1 Planning/Forecasting Applications Ø Create and deploy BI reports Ø Configure, deploy, and maintain releases Ø Analyze SQL code for problem resolution and performance optimization Ø Attend meetings in preparation of project planning directly with client business users and sponsors, including requirements and architecture review, and project milestone sessions. Required Skills/Knowledge: Ø Five plus years hands on development experience with TM1/Cognos Ø Five plus years of ETL and DW experience a large production environment Ø Minimum five years developing reports and dashboards with Cognos and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) /or other reporting tools Ø Experience in TM1 cubes / Rules / TI process /Active Forms / Web forms, Perspective, Architect, Ø Experience creating and maintaining SSIS packages Ø Proven experience with SQL server 2008, DW dimensional modeling and OLAP cubes Ø Report Development Experience with experience in dashboards with multi-level drilling Ø Framework Manager Experience Ø Ten years of experience working with Business Insight / Cognos Workspace a plus Experience working with a Data Warehouse Ø Good written and verbal communication skills Ø Ability to work in a team or independently Ø Ability to assess and analyze user needs and develop solutions Ø Experience developing Active Reports a plus Ø Ability to assess and analyze user needs and develop solutions Ø Ability to focus on priorities, work on multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Ø Experience in designing and development of Supply Chain Planning systems including Capacity Planning, Demand Planning and Forecasting Systems highly desirable Ø Experience in consulting within financial planning, budgeting and forecasting Ø Good written and verbal communication skills Ø Ability to work in a team or independently Ø Ability to assess and analyze user needs and develop solutions Ø Ability to focus on priorities, work on multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Ø Our direct client located in the Malvern, PA area is seeking a TM1/Cognos developer.
